well...  i am looking more for selling points of the rendering engine itself. 
What are the benefit of using Arnold vs vray or mental ray?

With all the textures in place, it would take me aprox 10 minutes to render this type of image in Mental ray on my sixcore pc at work.

This is an article that discusses all the pros n cons of all leading renderers(www.fxguide.com/featured/the-s…. Arnold is only available to studios at the moment(as it is in beta) but from what i have seen it's light years ahead of mental ray. A 3k car render that would normally take upwards of 6hrs to render with mental ray takes roughly a third of the time in arnold, bearing in mind render time killers like GI and area lights are all switched on. Arnold has new version releases very often and strive to optimize the renderer as the main philosophy. Other developers it seems are not as aggressively tackling the issues that cripple render time such as GI, SSS and other brute force things...
